The story behind
Body Delights was founded by Eddie Colon. He began selling supplements out of his 2001 Ford Mustang. The goal was to give people what they demanded but also introduce them to products that were unheard of and incredibly effective.
In 2008, Body Delights had its first brick n mortar store and ultimately became one of the most recognized nutrition stores in the North East. While many stores have come and gone, Body Delights has been battle tested and approved by many as a leader in the industry.
Body Delights not only caters to the average “gym rat” or lifers. It caters to all those that need nutritional information and guidance. The logo used is to show that both men and women should live a healthy lifestyle; I’d like to add that many restless nights took place to come up with the proper logo. A BIG GUY as a logo is common. People forget, women also workout. That is why we stress the obvious; working out is for men, women & children. The Supplement Guy
I’d like to share a little bit about myself. I Graduated from Berkeley College with a business degree in International Business and obtained my MBA in Management from Dowling College in Oakdale, Long Island. Prior to opening Body Delights I owned a gym in Florida. I realized as much as I enjoyed owning the gym, my passion was more on the nutrition side.
The first product line I sold was Gaspari Nutrition and Universal. The hustle began and I was literally available for all my clients 24/7 as I am till this day. I was always striving to find the latest products. Then the name began to grow.
Known as “The Supplement Guy” The name is still used to this day with various clients. Several years later, all the money I saved from selling out of the trunk of my car paid off and I opened Body Delights
